About

I’m a public relations/social media marketing professional with an expertise in motorsports currently located in Charlotte. With more than 10 years of full-time experience (and six internships during college – yes, six), I have been fortunate to work some of the largest brands in the world through various positions in Charlotte, Chicago and Indianapolis.

With my current role I lead communications for Team Penske’s INDYCAR program and oversee all social media for the team. Within my limited time at the team so far, I’ve been lucky enough to witness two INDYCAR Series Championships, two Indianapolis 500 wins and countless other wins and so many more experiences I’ll never forget.

I have worked with variety of brands (including Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 brands) such as 3M, Farmers Insurance, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Mechanix Wear Gloves, Chicagoland Speedway, Route 66 Raceway, Hisense, Moe’s Southwest Grills and many more.

Outside of work, I’m proud to have been in a troupe that performed at the 2014 Chicago Improv Festival. I grew up doing theatre doing plays, musicals, student written sketch shows and improv. I hope to one day join another improv troupe when I can find the time.

This blog has evolved over time, centered on my thoughts on just about my personal life to my views on trends within social media, sports marketing and more.
